About
This project uses the concept of Harberger tax applied on-chain to offer a marketplace for influencer's influence. This mechanism ensures continuous availability and fair valuation, allowing for a dynamic exchange of influence.
Harberger Tax
Harberger Tax is an economic concept designed to encourage the efficient use of assets while ensuring they remain publicly accessible. At its core, asset owners assess their own property value and pay a tax based on this valuation.
The twist? The asset is always for sale at the self-assessed price. In the context of our platform, this means that each NFT, representing influencer influence, is continually available for purchase. Owners declare their value for the NFT and pay a tax accordingly, promoting fair valuation and constant availability. This system fosters an environment where influence is democratized, and the barriers between ownership and accessibility are minimized.
Why partial common ownership & influence?
The concept of partial common ownership challenges the traditional boundaries of property rights, offering a more fluid and equitable model for asset distribution and management. Applying this model to the realm of influencer's influence is particularly compelling in the era of VTubers and digital personas, where the lines between reality and virtuality blur.
In this landscape, where influencers may not even exist in the conventional sense, partial common ownership ensures that the influence wielded by virtual entities can be democratically managed. This opens up new frontiers for community engagement and collaborative content creation, allowing for a dynamic interplay between creators and their audiences.
